Katie Nauth
Education & Program Manager
Katie brings over 10 years of experience in program coordination, event planning, and volunteer management to the Impact team. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in creating and managing educational programs and events that meet compliance, credentialing, and accreditation requirements while delivering meaningful value to attendees.
Katie has experience with a wide range of audiences, having managed programs at small nonprofits, corporations, universities, and local government. Due to her passion for learning, she spent several years in front of the classroom as an instructor, first as an English as a Second Language instructor and later as a teaching assistant at the university, but finds that her strengths lie in supporting educational programming behind the scenes. Katie is energized by work that brings communities together around collective action and provides individuals with opportunities for growth, whether through professional development, skills-based programming, or community events.
Katie holds a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Ohio University, and an MA in Geography from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Through her studies she developed critical thinking and research skills that inform her approach to understanding complex systems, identifying needs, and developing effective solutions.
In her free time, Katie likes to garden, paint/draw, camp, hike, and read, preferably with her young son, husband, and grouchy but cuddly cat.
